The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (C.S.F.P)
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program serves the elderly. Members are of low income households and reside in Webb or Zapata County. Participants recieve a monthly food bag with a nutritious and balanced assortment
Food Assitance
The South Texas Food Bank partners with 150 non-profit agencies to distribute to 20,000 needy families in south Texas per month.
Good Samaritan Program (Good Sam Prog.)
The Good Samaritan Program allows community members to adopt a family in need, living below poverty level. For every $100 contribution anyone can adopt a family for a whole year.
Kid's Cafe Program
The South Texas Food Bank helps provide warm and nutritious meals to children in Laredo at 6 locations. It serves daily after-school meals and provides a safe haven full of activities for children. Kid's Cafe also hosts special events throughout the year, such as tutoring and occassional parties. They are even lucky enough to have a visit from Santa during Christmas time.
